Class Project for Limestone Happenings!

Limestone College!

Prospective Limestone Saints will be visiting campus today - and some of those prospects will join a session titled "Communications in a Brave New World" with Randy D. Nichols, PhD and Digital Literacy students Asaad Woods, Nolan Wilson, Claire Huminski and Zack Missel.

After an intro to Communications in the increasingly digital 21st Century,  from Dr. Nichols, here's what our visiting scholars will do, with assistance from Limestone Digital Literacy students:

1. Create a Blog on BLOGGER.
2. Post a photo from the Happenings Event - like the Limestone pic at the top right.
3.  Search Instagram pics for #limestonehappenings with ICONOSQUARE and link to a pic you find there, like this one: http://scontent-b.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xpa1/t51.2885-15/1390072_289387434589026_679618587_n.jpg
4. Link to the Facebook Event Page by adding this URL to the code: https://www.facebook.com/events/553689454732950
5. Embed a Limestone Happenings related video from YouTube, or you can use this piece produced by SCETV about the College (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVcX4ZhJBzw) - the embedded video will look like this:

 

• Students will add a written or video greeting, report on the days activities, and will email the blog's URL to rnichols@limestone.edu and to zamissel0130 for materials to be shared with peers.
• Optional: Students may add links to #limestonehappenings materials from Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr, etc.
